Devil's Ridge Motocross is a dirt track located on King Farm Road in the Sanford/Tramway area. They offer racing classes for different skill levels, ages, and bike sizes.

The railroad house is the oldest house in Sanford built in 1872. Unfortunately, it's not on the market.
Depot Park is located directly behind the RR house. During the warmer months, Depot Park hosts concerts & activities. The park features a bandstand, antique train, play area, a small museum and a splash fountain.

Kiwanis Family Park is on Wicker Street (Hwy 42 West) It features a large meadow with volleyball nets, a playground, a greenway, a 1-mile walking trail, a covered shelter, picnic tables, grills, volleyball nets, and a gazebo.

The NC Veterans' Memorial is on South Main Street in Broadway. Broadway is located 5 minutes east of Sanford and is convienient to Pope and Fort Bragg (20 minutes) and is now convienent to Apex/Cary (20-30 minutes) with the new bypass to US 1 north.

San-Lee Park is a 160-acre park on Pumping Station Road in Sanford that offers 4 miles of walking/hiking trails, a mountain bike trail, a Nature Center with snakes, owls & other critters, a playground, picnic facilities, campgrounds & two stocked lakes for fishing. Paddle boats/canoe rentals are also available seasonally.

Take a step back in the past at House in the Horseshoe. It has monuments, outdoor exhibits, and of course, a gift shop. The site includes the Alston House (built in 1772) with furnished rooms, a working loom house, corn crib, and wellhouse.
